Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining Tableau BI solutions within the organization and working with other team members to ensure performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will also be able to provide analysis of information obtained from the BI solutions and make recommendations that drive advancement within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

- Analysis and documentation of business intelligence needs within the company

- Development and deployment of BI reports and data visualizations

- Implementation and maintenance of new and existing BI solutions

- Data mining and writing SQL queries

Applications / Technologies

- Tableau Analytics and Business Intelligence Software

- Microsoft SQL Server

- Acumatica ERP

- Electronic Health Records and Practice Management (EHR/EPM: NextGen, eClinicalWorks/eCW, SequelMed, etc.)

- Crystal Reports (minimal, legacy solution)

Qualifications / Preferred Experience

- Background in analytics (Bachelor's degree preferred)

- Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and/or data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)

- Strong understanding of SQL databases; ability to create complex SQL queries (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)

- Detail-oriented, advanced problem-solving skills

- Experience in healthcare and/or finance/accounting (preferred)

- Self-motivation to accept and complete tasks

- Sense of ownership and responsibility towards problems and solutions
