Contract Compliance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Preferably College Graduate or at least 2 years in College.
• College Degree / Course related to Medical Field is a plus.
• Ability to give full attention to detail.
• Ability to identify complex problem and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Literate with English Language.
• Computer Literate.
• Primarily Dayshift but must be flexible with schedule.
• Previous call center experience related to Medical Accounts and Programs is a plus.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  1. Responsible in all aspects of contractual agreements to ensure compliance for all grants and contracts.
  2. Ensures that the insurance complies on the standard percentage payment.
  3. Reminds insurances regarding their contract/agreement with the doctors/providers.
  4. Handles write-offs based on the insurance agreement/contract.
  5. Make a call to an insurance company to verify/update the policies.
• Department Coverage:

1. Cross trained to provide department coverage in charge entry.
2. Maintains professional knowledge regarding medical billing and coding procedures, insurance carriers, federal programs, etc.
3. Other duties may be assigned from time to time
