Database Developer

Description

PracticeMax, a provider of business solutions and software services in the healthcare industry, has an immediate opening for a Database Developer SQL Server. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing database solutions and reports.

Responsibilities:- Support existing database environments in the organization related to a software product.

- Make recommendations and implement database structure improvements and database models.

- Work with software development team to help review and implement data model updates, improvements and new structures in line with enhancements to our software products.

- Aid in establishing databases standards and best practices

- Participle in the select of emerging technology and tools

Skills & Requirements:

- Experience with SQL Server 2014 or higher- Experience with database management and administration

- Experience with database tuning

- Experience with data modeling, data management, and data processing flowchart techniques- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills - Personable, passionate about developing great software- Proactive, positive approach to work- Highly organized, reliable and diligent; ability to compartmentalize, prioritize and break down a task into logical steps- Must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills and an eye for details

- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
