Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of our company. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.

The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business.

The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company's operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

  • Work with US supervisors and departments to establish local operations KPIs
  • Work with operational teams, the support team in the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Evaluate the needs and processes of each US department and translate into local standard SOPs that suit the requirements of US departments.
  • Participate in planning and forecasting activities to help assess and forecast the capacity of the Cebu site.
  • Objectively analyze setbacks, issues and must be open about discussing and correcting mistakes, encouraging a learning environment.
  • Implements performance standards and establishes controls to ensure that goals are met and commitments are delivered.
  • Improve the account's operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Prepares reports for clients and internal executive management to show performance improvement and engagement health.
  • Analyzes and compares current and past performance to bring constant process improvements and financial benefits.
  • Responsible for planning and managing the use of resources and daily operations activities for multiple shifts and meeting operational requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to standard operating procedures and compliance with all company policies, procedures and safety rules and regulations.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Ensure that long range Training and Development systems of control are in place to meet future objectives to the business. Participates in Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Talent Acquisition of Operations positions and talents.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Management of Site budget in coordination with the VP.
  • Assisting Executive Director and Board in creating annual organizational budget and monitoring cash flow.
  • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as training, clientele service, and problem resolution, among others.
  • Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
  • Motivate and inspire people to be innovative in their approach and bring out ideas for process improvements.
  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
  • Manage both Cebu (PMAXGlobal) and Manila (Global Healthcare Resources) sites.
  • Mandatory travel between two locations (Cebu and Manila)
  • Other related duties, tasks, and projects may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing a complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations, or strategies.
  • Exposure to the healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge in the end to end RCM process is preferred.
  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position
  • Willing to travel between two locations (Cebu and Manila)
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
