SQL Database Developer

Primary Responsibilities

- Development and implementation of new and existing database solutions

- Writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures

Additional Responsibilities (as capable):

- Business Intelligence (BI), data warehousing, reporting solutions (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)

- Resource analysis, performance, tuning, efficiency

- Managing backup solutions and maintenance plans

- Development of Crystal Reports

- Development of dashboards using Tableau Software

Applications / Technologies

- Microsoft SQL Server

- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS

- Crystal Reports

- Tableau Analytics and Business Intelligence Software

- Oracle and MySQL (minimal)

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of SQL databases

- Ability to create complex SQL queries

- 2+ years relevant work experience

- Applicable Microsoft certifications preferred

Skills / Requirements

- Self-motivation to accept and complete tasks

- Sense of ownership and responsibility towards problems and solutions

- Advanced problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner

- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred (NextGen, eClinicalWorks (eCW), HL7, EPM, EHR, etc.)
