Sales Manager

Sales Manager is responsible for selling business products and services to U.S. companies by implementing sales plans and supervising phone based sales staff. He/ she shall provide strategic selling direction for assigned region, including clinical product expertise.

He/she shall direct sales activities by performing the following duties and responsibilities (fundamental job duties):

Sales, Coordination and Communication

  • Supports the team in attaining monthly and annual sales targets. Implements national sales programs by developing sales action plans.
  • Meet realistic sales objectives by developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and service lines; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price as planned by the Vice President.
  • Direct sales activities including leading the development of sales plans and to meet business growth objectives, while partnering with US based POC's regarding strategy and pricing approval.
  • Develop business plans to achieve financial results, report on progress regularly, and develop actions plans to address underperformance.
  • Develop and maintain product line technical expertise and provide support to sales personnel and customers, including demonstration of PracticeMax's product capabilities, key features and advance applications.
  • Effectively communicate business results to sales team and to senior management monthly, up to and including sales results and their drivers, best practices, risks, gap analyses, and budget adherence.
  • Submit recommendations relative to changes in existing procedures, services, new product or product line extensions, etc. to effect improvements to increase sales volume.
  • Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Effectively migrate sales functionality from U.S. based sales force to phone based systems.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of functional processes to lead progressive improvement initiatives applying principles of sales excellence.

Personnel Development

  • Maintains phone based sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training sales employees. Hire, coach, mentor and develop staff toward maximized performance. Recommend changes which support achievement of sales objectives.
  • Maintains phone based sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Take full responsibility for the training and education of sales team, assessing and working with appropriate internal parties to execute training in healthcare compliance, quality and regulatory rules and guidelines, healthcare credentialing, corporate policies (e.g., expense management).
  • Work with Human Resources to execute the onboarding and off boarding processes.
  • Provide continual career guidance to the team through facilitating situational skill development needed to achieve developmental goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management, and as position requires.
