Training Coordinator

Job Overview:

 Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Training Coordinators are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs. He/she will set performance metrics, evaluate productivity and help employees create long term career plans within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all training plans, training activities and training classes conducted by the training team in operations including the content creation and delivery upon the request of the Campaign Managers or Department Heads.
  • Communicates with Human Resource or Recruitment Team as well as with the Campaign Managers and Department Heads for training work-flows and training schedules.
  • Ensures adequate supply of training resources and facilities to meet and address training needs and maintain the quality of training
  • Implements existing training guidelines, training plans, training programs, training modules, training materials and training curricula or creates new ones per department or per campaign requirements and specifics whenever necessary
  • Works closely with the HR Managers and Department Heads to diagnose poor performance problem, to assess training needs and to create performance improvement plans in collaboration with the Operations Team.
  • Handles knowledge and Process Management and coordinates with the operations team for any process updates or changes of the training materials.
  • Consider the costs of planned programs and keep within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development program is becoming increasingly important
  • Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, HR training and more.

 

Main Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Adequate knowledge of training management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Computer literate and can work effectively with MS Office tools.

General Requirements:

  • Preferably a Graduate of BS Psychology or Human Resource Management with at least 3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
  • Understands the metrics of Training such as student to trainer ratio, Training needs analysis, etc
