Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong written English
- Must be able to adapt to change daily
- Be very organized with great attention to detail
- Be able to prioritize as some assignments require immediate attention
- Be able to perform efficiently and effectively under deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with assigned tasks with limited to no supervision
- Ability to work efficiently on a team and remain professional
- Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Entering of patient demographics
- Enter daily charges from multiple practices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Apply patient co-pays, adjusting of money, write offs
- Place appropriate notes on accounts when needed
- Access multiple practices EHR systems to collect proper information needed to enter charges
- Communication with other departments like A/R and Patient Accounts daily
- Follow all proper protocols for practices and insurances
